Iaritza Menjivar

Iaritza Menjivar

Iaritza Menjivar is an emerging photographer featured by The GroundTruth Project. She earned her BFA in Photography at Lesley University College of Art and Design. Currently, she works as the assistant to director at the Griffin Museum of Photography and is the Instagram Editor at Digital Silver Imaging. She also does freelance work which include event photography and photo retouching. Recently, Iaritza’s ongoing project, First Generation, was featured on The New York Times Lensblog. For this same project, Iaritza was awarded a St. Botolph Foundation Emerging Artist Grant in the visual art category. She was also a scholarship recipient for the Seeing Crete: A Photo Diary Workshop in Crete, Greece, part of Maine Media Workshops. She has been part of international and national group shows, including this year being part of the Emergi-Cubes at Photoville in New York.
