In 2025, The GroundTruth Project, founded in 2012, made a strategic decision to step away from its longtime investment in content and editorial work in order to focus fully on scaling its flagship programs. This shift prompted a rebrand, and The GroundTruth Project is now known as Report Local, home of Report for America and Report for the World.
