Earl Johnson

Earl Johnson is Report for America's Vice President of Recruitment and Alumni Engagement. Earl has over three decades of experience overseeing complex higher education operations in enrollment management and student services. While at The University of Tulsa, Johnson held multiple titles and responsibilities including Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Services, Associate Vice President and Dean of Admission, Vice President for Student Services and Executive Director of Development for Strategic Initiatives. As Vice President for Enrollment and Student Services, Johnson managed a large portfolio consisting of over 100 employees in critical areas charged with delivering on the student experience. During this period, The University of Tulsa realized some of its greatest admission and enrollment success. Johnson was the first person of color to hold each leadership position and took great pride in opening doors of opportunity and supporting students to pursue their passion and life purpose through the attainment of a college education.
